Tailgate on Tour - Part 6: From Championship Finals to Festive Fun!
It’s been a whirlwind few months here at Tailgate Coffee, and we’ve officially traded our summer shades for woolly hats and thermal flasks! Since our last update, the trailer has been clocking up the miles, serving everything from high-octane athletes to spooky supporters and festive shoppers.
Here’s a little look at where we’ve been:
Flag Football & National Finals
We had an absolute blast joining the Nuola Flag Football community—the energy on the field is something else! But the real highlight of our sports season was heading over the Pennines to Manchester for the BAFA Flag Finals Weekend. Providing the caffeine fix for the national championships was a massive honor. There’s nothing quite like the pressure of a final to make you appreciate a perfectly pulled espresso!
A Spooky Stop for a Great Cause
In October, we parked up for a very special (and slightly spooky!) cause: the RSPCA Doncaster Halloween Event. It was wonderful to see everyone in their costumes, and we loved being able to warm up the hardworking volunteers and supporters who do so much for animals in our region.
Double the Christmas Cheer
Finally, we wrapped up the year with two fantastic Christmas events. There’s something truly magical about the smell of fresh coffee mixing with the crisp winter air and festive music. Whether we were serving lattes to early-bird shoppers or hot chocolates to families enjoying the holiday lights, these events reminded us why we started Tailgate in the first place—to be at the heart of the community, wherever that may be.
What’s Next?
The "espresso emergency" feels like a lifetime ago now. With our new heating setup and thermal covers working like a charm, we’ve been able to keep the coffee flowing through every frost and flurry.
We’re now looking ahead to a packed calendar. Whether you’re planning a sporting event, a local fundraiser, or even a corporate winter warmer, we are fully equipped and ready to roll.
